Do you remember our Afro-Igbo-Anglo writer who thrilled us the other time with his beautiful piece titled “Ms Enebe aje oru” , well here is another socio-relative piece telling us what we need to know about child abuse. You sure need to read this.
Below is what he said about our sick society and it’s effect on a child.. But first he had to quote a writer by name JD.
The most devastated victim of an immoral/impatient society like ours is the vulnerable little child who hears his/her parents scream and argue; their tension and frustrations spill over into his/her world, and the instability of his/her home leaves it’s ugly scars on his/her young mind. Then he/she watches his/her parents separate in anger, and he/she says “goodbye” to the father/mother he/she needs and loves.
He went on to say;
People, if you can’t be submissive to a man or love and respect your woman, steer clear of marriage, rather than start a shitty process that has domino effect.
On the flip side, we all have an option of simply staying single and fixing ourselves before bringing little ones into this world.
Ifuru 6months/ 1 year and all those petty marriages should stop…ife ewegbuom.
