A facebook user, name withheld wrote this evening:
I started rooting for Nina in BBN as a lazy youth who the state gave no other thing to look out for, in the process I noticed that Nina cannot win I switched over to Miracle, I campaigned for him, because he was likeable, handsome, cute and humane and a young upcoming pilot as they said..
Now backtrack to yesterday I noticed that they are rewarded handsomely for typically lazying around the house for 3 months, kissing and caressing and even having sexual intercourse on a national television, I have nothing against their acts I’m no saint or alien to such acts ..
But please can people tell me why the home coming ?
What did we benefit from this entertainment that made one of them get Ambassador of education?
Someone that did not school in Imo state,
someone that can’t speak igbo very well,
someone that this homecoming might be the first in a decade or more and,
2 million each to all the attendants and plots of land giving to them, I still don’t understand how politics and old men have turned into mockery..
I have a friend that I love so dearly sometimes when I want to pour out my mind, I think of him and I withdraw back, but I can’t hold this one back because I’m lost and needs to be found and giving a proper insight on why this has to happen in a state that it’s people are going through a very tough time..
Why can’t they give this in secret and let us lick our wounds, I’m saddened about this and I just can’t keep my mouth shut, you see all my father said and I quote “
“Any one who says bad thing is good, may bad thing never depart his home”
If you support this act may the morals you imbibe in this BBN be the pillar of the foundation of your own home ..
Every member of BBN belong in the entertainment industry, modelling, endorsements in brands, fashion, acting, easier boost to getting more better roles in acting, recognition as face in the entertainment industry, there is no moral lesson and it takes only an ignorant person to recognise this lots as one whose morals should be emulated …
Rocha Okorocha, have mercy on the people of Imo State, show them some love please they are suffering, find a way to give to the society that put you in there,
Keke men lay their lives on the road protecting your ballot paper, “I was there too”
Cab people put your sticker in their cars without being paid,
Pensioners rooted for you, shouted for you, campaigned and told their children that you are the right person for this job,
Old women cried and jubilated and loved you, and hoped you bring them out of their misery..
Civil servants went on protests insisting that you will rule them so that their salaries will be paid in full and quickly,
But today everyone one of them is full of pains and regrets,
gnashing of teeth is in the land,
death is in the land,
Homelessness is in the land,
Malnutrition is in the land,
Joblessness is in the land,
Fear is in the land,
Incurable sickness because of lack of funds is in the land,
Today without addressing the issues in the land are addressing the home coming of your sons and daughter that went and mated in the National Tv..
Nsogbu adiro …
Na Sidon the look we dey … What goes up must surely come down..
